Terms of use

The terms governing your use of Biodata.sg, developed and owned by Digital Health Pte Ltd.

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Biodata.sg and any related services, content, communications, software, agency tools, subscription plans, and payment flows. In these terms, Biodata.sg, Digital Health, we, us, and our mean Digital Health Pte Ltd.

By accessing the platform, creating an account, uploading biodata, subscribing to a plan, or using any agency feature, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Biodata.sg for an agency or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

About the platform

Biodata.sg is a technology platform, directory, publishing tool, and discovery service for domestic helper biodata and agency information in Singapore. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not employ domestic helpers, act as an employment agency, act as an employer of record, provide legal or migration advice, guarantee work permit eligibility, or become a party to any hiring, placement, interview, fee, salary, replacement, refund, or agency agreement between users.

Eligibility and accounts

You may use Biodata.sg only if you have legal capacity to form a binding agreement and your use complies with applicable law. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate and current registration, licence, contact, billing, and profile information. We may suspend, limit, or terminate an account if information appears false, misleading, outdated, unauthorised, or unlawful.

Agency eligibility, licensing, and authority

If you register as an employment agency or use agency tools, you represent and warrant that:

  • the agency is registered in Singapore with the relevant corporate or business registry, where required;
  • the agency holds and will maintain every employment agency licence, approval, registration, and personnel registration required by the Ministry of Manpower and other applicable authorities;
  • the licence number, agency name, personnel details, contact details, and public profile information submitted to Biodata.sg are accurate and will be kept up to date;
  • each person using the agency account is authorised to act for the agency and will comply with the agency's legal, regulatory, and professional obligations;
  • you will immediately stop using agency features and notify us if the agency licence is suspended, expired, cancelled, revoked, restricted, or no longer covers the activities conducted through Biodata.sg.

Listings, biodata, and agency submissions

Agencies, helpers, employers, and other submitters are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, currency, and suitability of any biodata, profile details, photographs, videos, documents, salary expectations, work history, skills, availability, testimonials, and other material submitted to Biodata.sg.

If you submit helper biodata or agency content, you represent that you have the right and authority to do so, that the relevant individual has been notified of the intended publication and use, and that all required consents, authorisations, and legal bases have been obtained and documented. You must not upload content that is false, misleading, discriminatory, defamatory, infringing, confidential, unlawfully obtained, or outside the scope of the consent you hold.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, publish, display, transmit, moderate, index, analyse, and promote submitted content for operating, securing, marketing, and improving Biodata.sg.

We may review, edit, reject, de-list, disable, or remove content at our discretion, including where we believe content is inaccurate, duplicated, outdated, unauthorised, infringing, harmful, inconsistent with law, inconsistent with Ministry of Manpower requirements, or inconsistent with these terms.

Data, backups, and records

Biodata.sg is not an archival, legal-record, backup, payroll, work permit, or compliance recordkeeping system. You are responsible for keeping independent copies of biodata, consents, helper documents, agency contracts, invoices, licence records, and other business records that you are required or wish to retain.

We may delete, modify, suspend, restrict, migrate, or de-list data as part of operating the platform, enforcing these terms, responding to support requests, complying with law, or protecting users. We do not guarantee that deleted, corrupted, expired, or overwritten data can be recovered.

Acceptable use

  • Use the platform only for lawful hiring, recruitment, listing, research, or business purposes.
  • Do not scrape, harvest, copy, republish, resell, or redistribute biodata or site content without permission.
  • Do not use bots, crawlers, browser automation, extraction tools, or data-mining systems to collect or monitor platform data without our prior written consent.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, employer status, helper status, agency status, licence status, or authority.
  • Do not upload false, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, exploitative, unsafe, or unlawful content.
  • Do not interfere with security, reverse engineer the service, overload infrastructure, or bypass access controls.
  • Do not use biodata, enquiry details, or contact information for spam, resale, lead brokerage, unrelated marketing, or unauthorised profiling.

User due diligence

Employers, helpers, agencies, and personnel remain responsible for their own checks before making hiring, placement, payment, compliance, or employment decisions. This includes checking identity, licence status, references, work history, training, medical suitability, work permit eligibility, salary expectations, replacement terms, refund terms, and any matter relevant to a proposed hire or placement.

Search, ranking, recommendation, import, template, and A.I.-assisted features are informational tools only. They do not replace human review and do not constitute advice, endorsement, verification, or a guarantee of suitability, availability, eligibility, or outcome.

Payments, subscriptions, and promotions

Paid plans, boosts, wallet credits, featured placements, subscriptions, trials, and promotions are subject to the pricing, limits, inclusions, renewal rules, and payment terms shown at checkout or in the relevant product page. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, fees and wallet credits are non-refundable.

Promo codes are checked at checkout and may be restricted by account, plan, timing, prior use, billing status, or other eligibility criteria. A promotion has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be corrected, suspended, withdrawn, or refused if misused or displayed in error.

Intellectual property

The Biodata.sg service, including our branding, software, design, text, databases, templates, workflows, and original site content, is owned by or licensed to Digital Health Pte Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, adapt, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the platform.

Third-party services

Biodata.sg may link to or integrate with third-party websites, payment providers, storage providers, identity providers, messaging tools, analytics services, maps, or other services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or acts and omissions.

We do not guarantee hiring outcomes, response rates, interview success, placement success, employment continuity, agency performance, helper performance, regulatory approval, payment completion, data recovery, or the truthfulness of any user, helper, employer, agency, or listing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Health Pte Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or loss of profit, revenue, savings, goodwill, opportunity, contracts, reputation, data, records, content, or business interruption arising out of or related to Biodata.sg.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital Health Pte Ltd, its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, investigations, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your content, your account activity, your misuse of the platform, your breach of these terms, your violation of law, your violation of third-party rights, or your hiring, placement, employment, agency, or payment arrangements.

For agencies, this indemnity includes claims or investigations arising from licence issues, unauthorised personnel, inaccurate biodata, insufficient helper consent, privacy or PDPA complaints, intellectual property infringement, misuse of contact information, lost or corrupted records, hiring or placement disputes, replacement or refund disputes, and any allegation that content submitted by you or on your behalf caused loss or damage.

Suspension, termination, and changes

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of Biodata.sg at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we believe you have breached these terms, created legal or security risk, failed to maintain required agency licensing, failed to pay amounts due, or used the platform in a harmful or unauthorised way.

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will take effect when posted unless stated otherwise. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
