Editorial policy, AI disclosure and corrections
This policy explains who publishes Biodata.sg guides, how sources are checked, how AI may assist the work, and how readers can request a correction.
Policy effective: 2 August 2026
Publisher and responsible editorial team
Biodata.sg is developed and owned by Digital Health Pte Ltd. Guides are published by the Biodata.sg Editorial Team, the company team responsible for article sourcing, review labels, corrections and updates. We use a company byline because we do not publish individual author names or credentials unless they can be verified and the contributor has agreed to be identified.
What our guides are for
Our guides help Singapore employers understand how to compare helper biodata, interview candidates, check employment agencies, budget for hiring and find the relevant official rules. They are general information, not legal, medical, financial or employment-agency advice. Employers, helpers and agencies remain responsible for checking their facts and current obligations.
Research and review process
- Define the employer question and the page that should answer it.
- Check primary sources and record the directly relevant references.
- Separate official requirements from practical suggestions and commercial opinion.
- Check that titles, summaries, tables and structured data match the visible article.
- Add a review date only after a human editor has checked the article and source links.
- Revisit time-sensitive guides when rules, fees, products or source pages change.
Older guides without a dated review under this process are labelled “review pending”. A publication date alone must not be interpreted as a current fact-check.
How we use AI
AI tools may assist with research organisation, outlines, drafting, editing, summaries, internal-link suggestions and quality checks. AI output is not treated as a source. Under this policy, a human editor must review the visible article and its material claims before the page receives an “AI-assisted, human-reviewed” label and review date.
Source hierarchy
For time-sensitive hiring information, we prefer sources in this order:
- Singapore government and regulator sources, especially the Ministry of Manpower.
- Public-health guidance such as HealthHub for health and safety topics.
- Direct agency quotations, written terms and current public directory data.
- Clearly identified practical experience or analysis, with its limits stated.
References are listed on article pages. A “checked” date is displayed beside a reference only when the article has a dated editorial review.
“Best”, “top” and “cheapest” claims
We do not name an agency the best, top or cheapest without complete, dated and comparable evidence. Comparisons should distinguish agency fees from pass-through and ongoing costs, state inclusions and exclusions, link to MOM licence information, disclose sponsorship, and explain the ordering method. Sponsored placement must not determine an editorial ranking.
Agency and listing verification boundaries
Biodata.sg is a technology platform and directory, not an employment agency. Agency listings are intended for Singapore employment agencies, but licence status can change. Employers should verify the current agency and personnel record using the MOM Employment Agencies and Personnel Search. Helper biodata may be submitted by agencies, helpers or authorised representatives; the submitter is responsible for authority, consent, accuracy and updates.
Commercial interests
Biodata.sg identifies sponsored placement and material related-brand links where they appear. Digital Health Pte Ltd owns Biodata.sg. Guides that link to DigitalHealth.sg carry an additional related-brand disclosure so readers can weigh that recommendation independently.
Corrections and removal requests
To report an error, outdated rule, undisclosed interest or privacy concern, email hello@biodata.sg with the page URL, the passage concerned and a supporting source. We assess material corrections, update the article where appropriate and change its review date only after a new check. For personal-data requests, read the privacy policy.
